Today was a busy day....I am exhausted! This morning, pug woke me up extra early and I couldn't fall back asleep because I knew the alarm was coming. When I finally dragged myself out of bed, I found myself rushing to get to the lab on time, which honestly seems to be a habit for me :) I have been working on some programming that has been extremely frustrating...I wish that someone could just give me a lesson on how to do what I have to do, because it is taking waaay longer for me to figure everything out from scratch. All in all it was a good day though, I had a chance to participate in some experimental stuff that was really cool and made me realize that I actually have learned a lot since I started grad school. I also got an email from one of my old profs today...a really nice, old, forgetful fellow who I continue to enjoy. Then after work, I baked some muffins and relaxed for a while with pug. Tomorrow will be an early day again - g'night!

Well, here I am. I debated back and forth on whether or not to start a blog. I enjoy reading what other people write and find it helpful to know that I am not the only one who has had challenging experiences in grad school. Hopefully this blog will give me a place to keep my thoughts and may help someone else along the way.
